Two-Time NHRA Champion Steve Johnson Enlists CM2 For Representation
Steve Johnson, a two-time NHRA Champion, has enlisted CM2 for representation for the 2021 season.
"Steve is a phenomenal brand ambassador," says CM2's Nick Amadio. "He is a thirty year NHRA veteran, yet has more energy than a 3 year-old who's downed a dozen Pixie Stix."

BRANDING
Your brand(s) receive national exposure through their logos being featured on the hood, rear quarter panels, bed cover and on the "TV Panel" (rear) of the race car / truck. In addition to the fans attending the speedway, your brand(s) will be seen during the broadcast of each race, with potential additional coverage during broadcasts of practice and qualifying sessions, as well as pre-race coverage.
We consider this the equivalent of advertising on the network- only no ones tunes out or fast-forwards because “it’s a commercial”. And while it provides excellent brand awareness and builds loyalty among consumers who are dedicated to supporting brands that support their favorite sport, we consider this aspect of the marketing program to be the proverbial “icing on the cake”.
B2B ENGAGEMENT
Positive ROI is the key to the longevity of any marketing partnership. One of the best ways to ensure success for your organization is to involve your distributors and retailers. The NASCAR garage is an exciting (and exclusive) venue to engage them. It also creates the opportunity to track sales after the event, giving you a tangible monitoring method.
B2C ENGAGEMENT
CM2’s B2C program has two facets. The first includes team involved activities that start by having our driver participate in the track’s autograph session. ‘Hero Cards’ featuring your branding are signed and given to fans who line up for these events. The Hero Cards are also placed in a display by the team hauler for fans to take as they tour the garage.
Our teams also conduct social media contests during the race, in which fans can win your product or promotional items. In order to win, fans must follow your organization on Twitter, like your accounts on Facebook and, if you would like, follow your Instagram accounts as well. All of the questions posed during the contest have answers that can be found on your website(s). We make a concerted effort to drive traffic to your website and all your social media accounts through these contests.
To engage your consumers (and retailers), the driver will make an appearance at a retail location near each track for which you are the primary sponsor. These events also help drive sales as well. We have an optional show car / truck program that can drive sales even more.
The second facet of the B2C effort is an at track activation program, built around having an exhibit on the midway at NASCAR tracks during race weekends.
